Our usual IDFA weekend get away 2017. We saw some amazing films. If you get the chance to watch Rebel Surgeon, Of Fathers and Sons, Year of Hope and Time Trial then we say: watch them.


Sinterklaas -or Saint Nicholas- season is upon us in the Netherlands, not to be confused with Santa Claus for Christmas. A while ago we made a short film about Sinterklaas' controversial sidekick Zwarte Piet - or Black Pete.The figure of Black Pete regularly sparks discussions on racism here in the Netherlands.

25,000PhP are going each to Jeremy Bolatag for his documentary 'Payadon' about the 2/9/2016 bombing in Davao city, and Jeffrie Po for his documentary 'Untitled' telling the story of aging artist Noynoy Estarte. "Safe Haven: stories from a Dutch school" is the title of the short documentary I am making about children from conflict and war areas being taught at a Dutch school.
